We wish all our customers & friends a very happy Christmas and a fantastic New Year in 2023.

So much has happened in the last couple of years, it’ll be nice to enjoy a relatively normal festive season, albeit a bit chilly at the time of writing this.

We’ve had a busy year in 2022 and The Nursery has continued to develop. We are now able to grow-on much of our own stock in the 6 new poly-tunnels which gives us much more control over quality and enables us to maintain an environment that is matched to the particular plant. It has taken an enormous amount of work to get the tunnels erected by our own team but the standard of building them this way far exceeds using contractors.

The public area of The Nursery has also developed positively with the addition of new pergola areas and creating enhanced display areas throughout the site.

Christmas & New Year Opening

See below for the opening hours of both the Nursery and the Cafe and which days we are closed. The Nursery is open right up to 4pm on Christmas eve, so do pop in to see us.

Christmas Tree Recycling

If your Christmas tree is cut, don’t forget that we provide a FREE facility, and encourage you to use it. The trees are ground up to form wood chip which we use around The Nursery. Simply come along and drop off your tree in the designated area in the car park and we will do the rest. This is a FREE service, but we do request that you make a generous donation to Dorothy House Hospice Care, the charity that we raise funds for throughout the year.
